Goa Carbon tumbles after production declines 86% YoY

Goa Carbon declined 3.73% to Rs 182.15 after the company said its production tanked 86.81% to 2378 MT in February 2020 from 18026.80 MT in February 2019.

On a sequential basis, production declined 86.33% from 17,393.540 MT reported in January 2020.

Goa Carbon has tumbled 29.73% in last one month as compared to a 13.34% decline in Nifty 50 index.

Goa Carbon is engaged in the manufacture and sale of calcined petroleum coke. The firm is a supplier to aluminum smelters, graphite electrode and titanium dioxide manufacturers, as well as other users in the metallurgical and chemical industries.
