Godrej Properties builds on launch of new residential project

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 6.74 points or 0.03% at 19,512.75.

On BSE, 1,306 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 10,481 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 567 and a low of Rs 561.35 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 689 on 7 December 2012. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 482 on 2 August 2012.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 6 June 2013, sliding 9.25% compared with the Sensex's 0.78% fall. The scrip had also underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 1.42% as against Sensex's 1.39% rise.

 

The mid-cap real estate developer has equity capital of Rs 78.05 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

Godrej Properties (GPL) said that the new residential project in Kolkata called Godrej Prakriti will offer 3 bedroom, hall and kitchen (BHK) modern apartments measuring between 1,100 square feet (sq. ft.) and 1,400 sq. ft. In addition to Godrej Prakriti, GPL is also developing two commercial projects in Kolkata viz. Godrej Waterside and Godrej Genesis in Salt Lake Sector 5 and a super luxury residential project, Godrej Platinum, in Alipore.

Godrej Properties' consolidated net profit surged 33.7% to Rs 53.22 crore on 18.7% decline in net sales to Rs 279.56 crore in Q4 March 2013 over Q4 March 2012.
