GTPL Hathway hit a lower circuit of 10% at Rs 52.65 after the company reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 13.63 crore in Q4 March 2020 (Q4FY20), lower than net loss of Rs 27.68 crore in Q4 March 2019 (Q4FY19).
Net sales jumped by 103.3% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 655.65 crore during the period under review.
EBITDA rose 20% to Rs 124.6 crore in Q4FY20 over Q4FY19. EBITDA margin stood at 18.7% in Q4FY20. The company reported a pre-tax loss of Rs 18.41 crore in Q4FY20, lower than pre-tax loss of Rs 30.48 crore in Q4FY19.
The company's cable TV (CATV) subscription revenue stood at Rs 264.7 crore while the broadband income were at Rs 46.1 crore, both business registering a 27% YoY growth in Q4FY20.
GTPL Hathway's net profit surged 311.8% to Rs 77.75 crore on a 91.4% increase in net sales to Rs 2384.08 crore in the year ended March 2020 over the year ended March 2019.
