Of Unit 1 (125 MW) at Surat Lignite Power Plant
Gujarat Industries Power Co announced that due to a technical snag in the Stator Winding of the Generator, Unit - 1 (125MW) of Surat Lignite Power Plant (SLPP) of the Company at Village Nani Naroli, Taluka Mangrol, Dist.: Surat, tripped on 29 November 2014. The repairing work of damaged stator winding has been initiated in consultation with the experts from BHEL (the OEM).
