Gujarat Pipavav Port announced that the company has received approval from the Ministry of Environment & Forests for its expansion plan.
The approval dated 05 June 2012 was challenged by an NGO in the National Green Tribunal and the Tribunal vide its order dated 22 August 2013 kept the company's environment approval in abeyance for a period of six months.
