Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 112.74 points, or 0.34% to 33,591.09.Gujarat Pipavav Port surged 10% at Rs 154. The stock topped the gainers in 'A' group. On the BSE, 4.35 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 4.34 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Future Retail spurted 8.42% at Rs 557. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.43 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 80,000 shares in the past two weeks.
BF Utilities jumped 7.47% at Rs 529.40. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 7.63 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 2.92 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Prestige Estates Projects climbed 5.82% at Rs 325.40. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 36,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 11,000 shares in the past two weeks.
RattanIndia Power rose 5.43% at Rs 9.12. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 37.16 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 73.26 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
