Hatsun Agro Product rose 3.49% to Rs 724.45 at 9:30 IST on BSE after SBI Mutual Fund bought 10.50 lakh shares, or 0.69% equity, of the company at Rs 700 each on NSE yesterday, 3 October 2017.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 10.84 points, or 0.03% to 31,508.22.On the BSE, 2,026 shares were traded in the counter so far, compared with average daily volumes of 5,399 shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 729.90 and a low of Rs 718.45 so far during the day.
As on 31 August 2017, SBI Mutual Fund held 4.20 lakh shares in Hatsun Agro Product.
Net profit of Hatsun Agro Product rose 18.8% to Rs 35.19 crore on 12.8% rise in net sales to Rs 1168.74 crore in Q1 June 2017 over Q1 June 2016.
Hatsun Agro Product manufactures and markets dairy products like milk, curd, ice creams, dairy whitener, skimmed milk powder, ghee, paneer, etc.
