HDFC Bank Ltd rose for a third straight session today

The stock is quoting at Rs 2042, up 1.66% on the day as on 12:59 IST on the NSE. HDFC Bank Ltd is up 25.13% in last one year as compared to a 11.33% gain in NIFTY and a 14.79% gain in the Nifty Bank index.

HDFC Bank Ltd rose for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 2042, up 1.66% on the day as on 12:59 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.83% on the day, quoting at 10693.2. The Sensex is at 35173.74, up 0.71%. HDFC Bank Ltd has added around 5.02% in last one month.

 

Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index of which HDFC Bank Ltd is a constituent, has added around 4.23% in last one month and is currently quoting at 26273.55, up 1.29% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 7.53 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 14.44 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark May futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 2024.75, up 1.33% on the day. HDFC Bank Ltd is up 25.13% in last one year as compared to a 11.33% gain in NIFTY and a 14.79% gain in the Nifty Bank index.

The PE of the stock is 29.87 based on TTM earnings ending March 18.
