Hindalco Industries Ltd lost 1.97% today to trade at Rs 196.6. The S&P BSE Metal index is down 0.75% to quote at 11116.73. The index is up 4.55 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd decreased 1.82% and NMDC Ltd lost 0.97% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 22.12 % over last one year compared to the 10.06% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
