Hindalco Industries Ltd lost 2.66% today to trade at Rs 425.05. The S&P BSE Metal index is down 0.99% to quote at 20004.28. The index is down 6.71 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, National Aluminium Company Ltd decreased 1.89% and Jindal Steel & Power Ltd lost 1.58% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went up 7.51 % over last one year compared to the 9.65% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
Hindalco Industries Ltd has lost 13.12% over last one month compared to 6.71% fall in S&P BSE Metal index and 0.69% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 43099 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 1.63 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 636 on 29 Mar 2022.
