Hindalco Industries Ltd fell 1.99% today to trade at Rs 451.1. The S&P BSE Metal index is down 1.16% to quote at 20390.94. The index is up 2.95 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Tata Steel Ltd decreased 1.39% and Steel Authority of India Ltd lost 1.39% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went up 10.42 % over last one year compared to the 9.95% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
Hindalco Industries Ltd has added 2.8% over last one month compared to 2.95% gain in S&P BSE Metal index and 0.46% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 50111 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 3.39 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 636 on 29 Mar 2022. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 309 on 20 Jun 2022.
