Hindalco Industries Ltd fell 2.21% today to trade at Rs 469.4. The S&P BSE Metal index is down 1.13% to quote at 21086.77. The index is down 0.59 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, National Aluminium Company Ltd decreased 2.11% and Vedanta Ltd lost 1.71% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went up 7.89 % over last one year compared to the 2.43% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
Hindalco Industries Ltd has lost 2.5% over last one month compared to 0.59% fall in S&P BSE Metal index and 2.42% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 67874 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 2.84 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 636 on 29 Mar 2022. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 309 on 20 Jun 2022.
