Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd rose 2.44% today to trade at Rs 236.9. The S&P BSE Oil&Gas index is up 0.94% to quote at 13777.35. The index is up 1.3 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Petronet LNG Ltd increased 1.7% and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd added 1.64% on the day. The S&P BSE Oil&Gas index went down 16.04 % over last one year compared to the 7.82% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
