Hindustan Zinc Ltd rose for a fifth straight session today

The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.18% on the day, quoting at 10516.9. The Sensex is at 34232.26, up 0.11%. Hindustan Zinc Ltd has dropped around 9.43% in last one month.

 

Meanwhile, Nifty Metal index of which Hindustan Zinc Ltd is a constituent, has dropped around 6.51% in last one month and is currently quoting at 3862, up 0.86% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 8.78 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 19.91 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark February futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 289, up 2.23% on the day. Hindustan Zinc Ltd is down 9.22% in last one year as compared to a 19.93% gain in NIFTY and a 25.39% gain in the Nifty Metal index.

The PE of the stock is 12.61 based on TTM earnings ending December 17.
