Hindustan Zinc Ltd rose 1.28% today to trade at Rs 213.2. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 0.79% to quote at 9920.96. The index is up 16.09 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, JSW Steel Ltd increased 1.26% and Tata Steel Ltd added 1.05% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 24.22 % over last one year compared to the 15.37% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
Hindustan Zinc Ltd has added 2.62% over last one month compared to 16.09% gain in S&P BSE Metal index and 7.03% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 861 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 53817 shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 291.8 on 08 Apr 2019. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 193 on 23 Aug 2019.
