Hong Kong share market closed lower on Friday, 04 May 2018, as investors continued booking recent gains amid cautious before the outcome of the Sino-US trade talks, released during the final minutes of trading. Top officials reached a consensus on some aspects of the countries' trade row, but remained relatively far apart on other issues, according to news agency reports on Friday. The Hang Seng index fell 1.3%, to 29,926.50, while the China Enterprises Index lost 1.1%, to 11,890.62 points. The sub-index of the Hang Seng tracking energy shares dipped 0.7% while the IT sector dipped 0.65%, the financial sector was 1.8% lower and property sector dipped 0.7%.
