Hong Kong share market closed higher for the third straight session on Wednesday, 09 April 2018, with energy firms rallying on the back of a surge in oil prices after US President Trump announced the country would withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal, and reimpose sanctions. The Hang Seng Index rose 0.4%, or 133.33 points, to end at 30,536.14. The sub-index of the Hang Seng tracking energy shares jumped 2.3%, while the IT sector rose 0.9%, the financial sector was 0.25% higher and property sector rose 0.7%.
