The Hong Kong stock market finished session down on Thursday, 12 April 2018, as caution prevailed amid nervousness arising from the threat of imminent U.S. military action in Syria. The Hang Seng index closed down 0.2% at 30,831.28 points, while the China Enterprises Index ended 0.3% lower at 12,288.86. Turnover decreased to HK$100.98 billion from HK$133 billion on Wednesday. Among the 50 blue chips, twenty rose and 29 fell, with one stock remaining unchanged.
