Hong Kong stock market finished lower on Monday, 22 November 2021, as a resurgence of COVID-19 cases in Europe prompted fresh lockdowns and painted a bleak picture of post-coronavirus recovery for the global economy.
At closing bell, the benchmark Hang Seng Index dropped 0.39%, or 98.63 points, to 24,951.34. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index dropped 0.46%, or 40.89 points, to 8,929.78.
