The Hong Kong stock market finished session higher on Wednesday, 18 April 2018, on the back of positive lead from Wall Street overnight and the China's central bank surprised cut in the amount of reserves banks must keep on reserve. The Hang Seng Index added 0.74%, or 221.50 points, to 30,284.25 after four straight losses. Turnover increased to HK$117.6 billion from HK$117.2 billion on Tuesday.
