The Hong Kong stock market extended gains on Monday, 11 September 2017, as market sentiment brightened by multiple factors including eased geopolitical tensions, reform of state-owned enterprises and PBOC reserve requirement cut for financial institutions. The Hang Seng Index closed up 1%, or 286.7 points, at 27,955.13. The Hang Seng China Enterprise Index, known as the H-share index, also rose 0.6% to 11,221.13.
