The Hong Kong stock market finished session lower on Friday, 28 July 2017, as investors took profits off the table after strong gains earlier in the week and on tracking overnight losses in US technology stocks. The Hang Seng Index slipped from Thursday's highest level in 25 months, falling 0.6% or 151.78 points to 26,979.39. The gauge rose 1% for the week, a third straight weekly gain. The Hang Seng China Enterprises index slid 0.9% or 102.11 points to 10,756.08. Turnover decreased to HK$78.9 billion from HK$90 billion on Thursday.
