Idea Cellular surged 11.67% at Rs 116.70 after the company during market hours yesterday, 4 January 2018, said that it will raise Rs 3250 crore via preferential allotment to promoters by issuing 32.66 crore shares at Rs 99.5 per share. The stock topped the gainers in 'A' group. On the BSE, 56.46 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 12.11 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Lakshmi Machine Works spurted 9.14% at Rs 6,488. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 11,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1,044 shares in the past two weeks.
IDFC Bank jumped 6.7% at Rs 58.10. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 23.7 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 5.84 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Bajaj Electricals climbed 6.56% at Rs 573.65. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.8 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 3.01 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Yes Bank rose 6.28% at Rs 337. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 13.48 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 3.45 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
