India's coffee exports for the calendar year 2019 slipped by 5% in value due to lower prices, despite a marginal rise in volumes, according to Coffee Board's latest provisional data. In dollar value, Coffee shipments fell to $794.21 million during 2019 compared to previous year's $836.14 million. In Rupee terms also, the exports were marginally lower at Rs 5583.64 crore, as against Rs 5661.37 crore in previous year. Total export volumes saw a marginal gain of 0.57% at 3.505 lakh tonnes during 2019 as against 3.488 lakh tonnes in the previous year.
