Crude oil production falls 0.8% to 24.96 mt during April-November FY2015

India's crude oil production declined 0.1% to 3.14 million tonnes (mt) in November 2014 over November 2013. The crude oil output of ONGC improved 2.7% to 1.86 mt, but that of private/joint venture (JV) companies declined 4.3% to1.017 mt. ONGC's offshore output surged 7.3% to 1.36 mt, but onshore production continued to dip at 8.3% to 0.5 mt. The crude oil production of Oil India also declined 2% to 0.29 mt in November 2014.

The crude oil output declined 0.8% to 24.96 mt during April-November FY2015, in addition to the 0.9% fall in April-November FY2014 and 0.7% dip in April-November FY2013. The output of ONGC and Oil India declined 0.1% to 14.29 mt and 4.4% to 2.29 mt, while that of private companies also fell 1.2% to 7.84 mt in April-November FY2015.
