Forex reserves declines by US$ 0.614 billion in the week ended 14 December

India's foreign exchange reserves declined by US$ 0.614 billion to US$ 393.12 billion in the week ended 14 December 2018. The foreign exchange reserves had stood at US$ 393.73 a week ago.

Within the foreign exchange reserves, the foreign currency assets declined to US$ 367.87 billion in the week ended 14 December 2018 from US$ 368.50 billion a week ago.

The gold assets were flat at US$ 21.19 billion and SDRs at US$ 1.45 billion in the week ended 14 December 2018.

India's foreign exchange reserves have dipped by US$ 31.42 billion over March 2018 and US$ 8.27 billion over a year ago level, mainly driven by the decline in foreign currency assets.
