Forex reserves rises to US$ 433.6 billion as on 27 September 2019

India's foreign exchange reserves surged by US$ 5.02 billion to US$ 433.59 billion in the week ended 27 September 2019. The foreign exchange reserves had stood at US$ 428.57 a week ago.

Within the foreign exchange reserves, the foreign currency assets galloped to US$ 401.62 billion in the week ended 27 September 2019 from US$ 396.67 billion a week ago.

The gold asset moved up slightly to US$ 26.95 billion from US$ 26.84 billion a week ago.

SDRs were flat at US$ 1.43 billion in the week ended 27 September 2019.

 

India's foreign exchange reserves increased by US$ 20.72 billion over March 2019, while jumped US$ 33.07 billion over a year ago level.
