India's forex reserves steady at US$ 430.05 billion in the week ended 16 August

Foreign currency assets declines US$ 0.41 biliion, while gold assets increased US$ 0.36 billion in week ended 16 August 2019

India's foreign exchange reserves remained nearly stable at US$ 430.50 billion in the week ended 16 August 2019. The foreign exchange reserves had stood at US$ 430.57 a week ago.

Within the foreign exchange reserves, the foreign currency assets declined to US$ 398.33 billion in the week ended 16 August 2019 from US$ 398.74 billion a week ago.

The gold assets were increased to US$ 27.11 billion from US$ 26.75 billion a week ago.

SDRs were flat at US$ 1.44 billion in the week ended 16 August 2019.

 

India's foreign exchange reserves increased by US$ 17.63 billion over March 2019, while jumped US$ 29.65 billion over a year ago level, driven by the increase in foreign currency assets and gold assets.
