India's services trade surplus rises 4.0% to US$ 6.98 billion in January 2020

As per the data released by the Reserve Bank of India, India's services exports increased 7.0% to US$ 18.99 billion in January 2020 over January 2019. Meanwhile, India's services imports jumped 8.8% to US$ 12.00 billion in January 2020.

India's services trade surplus rose 4.0% to US$ 6.98 billion in January 2020 from US$ 6.72 billion in January 2019.

India's services trade surplus improved 2.0% to US$ 66.37 billion in April-January 2020 over a year ago, with 8.6% rise in services exports to US$ 184.84 billion. India's services imports moved up 12.6% to US$ 118.48 billion in April-January 2020.
