Among the other constituents of the index, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd increased 2.42% and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd added 2.31% on the day. The S&P BSE Oil&Gas index went down 1.1 % over last one year compared to the 5.59% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
