Information Technology stocks were trading in the negative zone, with the S&P BSE IT Sector index falling 103.04 points or 0.68% at 15072.6 at 13:47 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, Infibeam Avenues Ltd (down 4.48%), CESC Ventures Ltd (down 3.1%),AXISCADES Engineering Technologies Ltd (down 2.7%),Cerebra Integrated Technologies Ltd (down 2.65%),Expleo Solutions Ltd (down 2.64%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (down 2.21%), L&T Technology Services Ltd (down 1.87%), Zensar Technologies Ltd (down 1.79%), NIIT Ltd (down 1.68%), and HCL Technologies Ltd (down 1.36%).
On the other hand, Kellton Tech Solutions Ltd (up 7.56%), Tanla Solutions Ltd (up 4.96%), and Cigniti Technologies Ltd (up 2.97%) moved up.
At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 125.06 or 0.31% at 40570.21.
The Nifty 50 index was up 41.9 points or 0.35% at 11963.4.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 0.02 points or 0% at 13339.33.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 12.92 points or 0.28% at 4671.62.
On BSE,1080 shares were trading in green, 1193 were trading in red and 186 were unchanged.
