Intellect Design Arena rose 3.04% to Rs 244 at 10:34 IST on BSE after the insurance software division of the company announced the launch of its Digital Distribution Suite for the UK Life and Pension markets.
The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 18 November 2015.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 218.18 points or 0.86% at 25,700.70
On BSE, so far 1.31 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 5.09 lakh shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 246.20 and a low of Rs 239.50 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 69 on 18 December 2014. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 279.15 on 3 November 2015.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 18 November 2015, rising 10.53% compared with 6.36% fall in the Sensex. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 21.28% as against Sensex's 8.44% decline.
