IOL Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals rose 2.69% to Rs 57.20 at 15:25 IST on BSE after the allotment committee of the board has allotted 5 lakh equity shares to Innova Marchantiles, non-promoter on the exercise of option attached with the warrants.
The company made announcement after market hours yesterday, 10 June 2015.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 473.71 points, or 1.76%, to 26,362.30.
On BSE, so far 91,938 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 45,000 shares in the past two weeks.
Shares of pharma company hit a high of Rs 57.60 and a low of Rs 55 so far during the day.
IOL Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals said that the allotment committee of the board has allotted 5 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each to Innova Marchantiles, non-promoter on the exercise of option attached with the warrants allotted on 4 July 2014 and the said shares shall be remain locked in for a period of one year from the date of trading approval. Consequent upon the issue of the above 5 lakh equity shares, the total paid-up capital of the company stands increased to 4.91 crore fully paid equity shares of Rs 10 each.
