IRCTC to operate Golden Chariot Train

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) on Wednesday announced that the company will operate trips through Golden Chariot from 14 March 2021.

IRCTC said it will operate 'Pride of Karnataka', a 6 Nights/7 Days trip starting from Bengaluru on 14 March 2021 covering Bandipur National Park, Mysore, Halebidu, Chikmangalur, Hampi, Aihole, Pattadakal, Goa and ending in Bengaluru.

The PSU company will also operate 'Jewel of South', a modified 3 Nights/4 Days trip starting from Bengaluru on 21 March 2021 covering Mysore, Hampi, Mahabalipuram and ending in Bengaluru.

Shares of IRCTC were trading 0.22% lower at Rs 1,882 on BSE.

 

IRCTC, a Mini Ratna public sector enterprise under the administrative control of Ministry of Railways, is the sole entity authorized by Indian Railways (IR) to provide catering services to railways, online railway tickets and packaged drinking water at railway stations and trains in India. The Government of India holds 67.40% stake in IRCTC as of 31 December 2020.
