The Japan share market finished session down on Wednesday, 28 March 2018, in the wake of a sharper fall in Wall Street overnight while ex-dividend trades added to the broader losses. Most of TSE 33 issues declined, with shares of semiconductor, Electric appliance, nonferrous metal and securities-linked issues comprised those that declined the most by the close of play. The 225-issue Nikkei average tumbled 286.01 points, or 1.34%, to close at 21,031.31. The TOPIX index of all first-section issues ended down 17.57 points, or 1.02%, at 1,699.56.
