The Japan share market finished session mixed on Tuesday, 14 November 2017, as investors buying on dips after a three day losing streak. Oil and coal product, and air transportation issues comprised those that declined the most by the close of play, while metal product and rubber product issues led those that gained. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average lost 0.98 point to close the day at 22,380.01. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, dropped 4.62 points, or 0.26%, to finish at 1,778.87. Falling issues outpaced advancing ones by 1,338 to 622, on the First Section, with 75 ending the day unchanged and on the main section on Tuesday, 1,735.79 million shares changed hands, rising from Monday's volume of 1,565.73 million shares. The turnover on the second trading day of the week came to 2,986.5 billion yen.
