Jindal Steel & Power has announced that Jindal Power (JPL), a subsidiary of the Company, has commissioned the second unit of 600 MW out of the 4x600 MW expansion project at Tamnar in Raigarh district of Chattisgarh on 30 March 2014.The first unit of 600 MW out of the said 4X600 MW project was commissioned on 14 March 2014. JPL has also informed that 3rd unit of 600 MW is complete and ready for synchronization.
