Jindal Steel & Power Ltd rose 2.71% today to trade at Rs 96.6. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 0.93% to quote at 8453.73. The index is down 12.72 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Tata Steel Ltd increased 1.83% and Vedanta Ltd added 1.66% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 39.22 % over last one year compared to the 4.09% fall in benchmark SENSEX.
