Jindal Steel & Power Ltd gained 3.5% today to trade at Rs 159.5. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 1.74% to quote at 8622.62. The index is down 10.01 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, JSW Steel Ltd increased 2.77% and Hindalco Industries Ltd added 2.68% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 23.59 % over last one year compared to the 5.38% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
