Jindal Steel & Power reports consolidated net loss of Rs 519.30 crore in the March 2015 quarter

Sales decline 11.52% to Rs 4481.03 crore

Net loss of Jindal Steel & Power reported to Rs 519.30 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against net profit of Rs 402.50 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales declined 11.52% to Rs 4481.03 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 5064.39 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 1278.12 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against net profit of Rs 1910.36 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales rose 0.14% to Rs 19177.92 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 19150.22 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
