JSW Steel Ltd lost 3.88% today to trade at Rs 261.4. The S&P BSE Metal index is down 2.49% to quote at 10105.9. The index is down 1.78 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd decreased 3.7% and Vedanta Ltd lost 3.11% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 5.86 % over last one year compared to the 14.83% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
JSW Steel Ltd has lost 2.75% over last one month compared to 1.78% fall in S&P BSE Metal index and 0.5% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 65524 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 2.74 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 313.4 on 02 May 2019. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 201.9 on 29 Aug 2019.
