JSW Steel records 5% sequential growth in Q3 crude steel production

JSW Steel has reported 4.02 million tons (MT)crude steel production in Q3 FY20 compared to 3.84 MT in Q2 FY20 (growth of 5%) and 4.23 MT in Q3 FY19 (decline of 5%).

The production of flat rolled products has increased by 6% to 2.86 MT in Q3 FY20 from 2.71% in Q2 FY20, but declined by 1% from 2.90 MT in Q3 FY19.

The product of long rolled products has increased by 9% to 0.89 MT in Q3 FY20 from 0.82 MT in Q2 FY20, but declined by 14% from 1.04 MT in Q3 FY19.

For 9M FY20, crude steel production has declined 3% to 12.09 MT, flat rolled products production has declined 3% to 8.48 MT and long rolled products production has declined 4% to 2.76% compared to corresponding period of previous year.
