Kamdhenu rose 3.20% to Rs 88.75 on BSE after the company said Kamdhenu Paints re-opened its production facility in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.
Shares of Kamdhenu rose 8.96% in three trading sessions to its current market price of Rs 88.75, from a recent closing low of Rs 81.45 on 22 August 2019.
Kamdhenu Paints has recently reopened its production facility at Chopanki Industrial Area, Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. Post the fire at paint unit in April 2019, the company has started partial manufacturing operations at the stainer division of the production facility and soon will be resuming the production of premium range of emulsion paints. These products will be eco-friendly and extremely durable. The new plant will cater to the demand for premium quality range of decorative paints offered by Kamdhenu Paints to its discerning customers. It will enable Kamdhenu Paints to offer unique propositions of a wide range of quality decorative paint products to its dealers and distributors Pan India.
On BSE, 108 shares were traded in Kamdhenu counter, compared to a 2-week average of 1,101 shares. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 88.75 and an intraday low of Rs 87.
It hit a 52-week high of Rs 226.45 on 7 September 2018 and a 52-week low of Rs 74 on 23 August 2019.
Kamdhenu operates in the business of steel manufacturing since 1995. It also forayed into decorative paints business in 2008.
