Karur Vysya Bank allots 11.73 crore equity shares

Under rights issue

Karur Vysya Bank announced that the Capital Raising Committee of the Bank at its meeting held 22 November 2017, has allotted 11,73,17,101 equity shares of face value of Rs. 2/- each for cash at a price of Rs. 76/- per equity share which were offered to the existing equity shareholders on Rights basis and to the eligible employees of the Bank under employee reservation portion. The paid up capital of the Bank after this allotment would be Rs. 145.33 crore.

Accordingly, the Bank would be taking steps to credit the equity shares and issue share certificates upon obtaining necessary approvals from the regulators.
