Kothari Products slumps after weak Q2 earnings

Kothari Products fell 6.71% to Rs 275.30 at 18:41 IST on BSE after net profit fell 26.48% to Rs 13.24 crore on 12.93% decline in net total income from operations to Rs 1104.48 crore in Q2 September 2015 over Q2 September 2014.

The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 10 November 2015.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 128.03 points, or 0.50%, to 25,871.29.

On BSE, so far 11,000 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 68,000 shares in the past two weeks.

The stock hit a high of Rs 294.40 and a low of Rs 274 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 325.70 on 3 November 2015. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 189.90 on 30 March 2015.

 

Meanwhile, Kothari Products said that the board of directors of the company recommended 1:2 bonus issue.
