Kwality lost 3.43% to Rs 118.30 at 13:11 IST on BSE, with the stock sliding on profit booking after recent sharp rally.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 47.41 points or 0.18% at 26,193.08.
On BSE, so far 3.65 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 4.49 lakh shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 123.70 and a low of Rs 116.50 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 124.25 yesterday, 30 November 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 35.25 on 27 March 2015.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 30 November 2015, surging 28.81% compared with Sensex's 1.92% fall. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, jumping 56.85% as against Sensex's 0.93% fall.
The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 21.87 crore. Face value per share is Re 1.

Shares of Kwality had rallied 35.65% in the preceding seven trading sessions to settle at Rs 122.50 yesterday, 30 November 2015, from a recent low of Rs 90.30 on 18 November 2015.
Kwality during market hours yesterday, 30 November 2015 said it would start distribution of its products i.e. milk, curd and chaach under the brand Kwality. The three categories of milk i.e. full cream, toned and double toned were available in pouches in Delhi NCR from 30 November 2015.
Kwality's net profit rose 3.6% to Rs 37.90 crore on 10.5% growth in net sales to Rs 1432.59 crore in Q2 September 2015 over Q2 September 2014.
Kwality's product portfolio includes skimmed milk/powder, pure ghee, paneer, butter, curd and yogurt.
