L&T Construction wins multiple orders in water treatment and heavy civil business segments

Projects valued between Rs 1000 cr to Rs 2500 cr

L&T Construction has secured orders for its water and effluent treatment and heavy civil business segments. These include -

The Business has secured a Water Infrastructure order from a prestigious client in the United Arab Emirates to execute a Recycled Water Transmission Pipeline Project.

The business has also secured an EPC order from National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) for the construction of a Pump House for Slurry & Water Pipeline Systems. The major scope including supply of PD Pumps 400 m3/hr 1550 mWc and 1500 m3/ hr @ 30 mWc of Slurry Charge pumps, constructing the pump house and associated facilities at Bacheli, Dantewada District, Chhattisgarh. This is a repeat order from NMDC.

 

Another order has been secured from Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) for the works of the Design and Construction of infrastructure Works for roads, drains, culverts, potable & recycle water supply systems, a sewerage system and power systems for a hi-tech township at Mahalunge, Pune. This will be the first project to be developed under Town Planning Scheme by PMRDA.

The heavy civil business has secured an order from Konkan LNG Private (KLPL) based on open competitive bidding process.

KLPL is a joint venture between GAIL India and NTPC, having a 5 MMTPA capacity LNG Terminal with expansion plans to increase capacity to 10 MMTPA and convert the terminal into an all-weather terminal by completing the balance scope of breakwater.

The work comprises new construction and rehabilitation for a 2.31 km long breakwater. The scope includes design, model study, rehabilitation of existing works, dredging, quarrying, casting of new accropodes, etc.
