La Opala RG gained 2.99% to Rs 590.95 at 15:20 IST on BSE after net profit rose 35.9% to Rs 15.07 crore on 11.9% rise in net sales to Rs 62.26 crore in Q2 September 2015 over Q2 September 2014.
The result was announced on Saturday, 14 November 2015.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 130.69 points or 0.51% at 25,741.22.
On BSE, so far 34,573 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 20,616 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit high of Rs 612.35 and low of Rs 584.15 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 627.30 on 27 August 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 312.40 on 16 June 2015.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 13 November 2015, gaining 4.12% compared with 4.6% fall in the Sensex. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 8.58% as against Sensex's 7.04% decline.
The mid-cap company has equity capital of Rs 11.10 crore. Face value per share is Rs 2.
Meanwhile, La Opala RG said during market hours today, 16 November 2015, that the company has started commercial production of the expanded capacity of the Sitarganj plant today, 16 November 2015.
