Back home,key benchmark indices ended with modest losses yesterday, 21 June 2018 as negative global cues spoiled sentiment. The barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, fell 114.94 points or 0.32% to settle at 35,432.39. The Nifty 50 index fell 30.95 points or 0.29% to settle at 10,741.10.
The trading activity on that day showed that the foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 1126.75 crore yesterday, 21 June 2018, as per provisional data released by the stock exchanges. Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 663.57 crore yesterday, 21 June 2018, as per provisional data.
