Records production of 127,321 units
Maruti Suzuki India announced the production figures for month of May 2015. Total production was 127,321 units in May 2015, compared to 121,746 units in May 2014. Higher production was recorded in the Super Compact and Midsize (Dzire Tour/ SX4/ Ciaz); Utility Vehicles (Gypsy/ Ertiga) and Vans (Eeco/ Omni) segments with production at 9582; 7208; and 13124 units respectively in May 2015. Production of Mini (Alto/ Astar/ Car/ Wagon R) and Compact (Ritz/ Swift/ Celerio/ Dzire) stood at 46434 and 50,973 units respectively in May 2015.Powered by Capital Market - Live News
